Go Doolin
Where to Go & What to Do

Our Story

Val is Irish, born and bred in Dublin. Phil is English, with some Irish heritage through his grandfather. Both of us worked in management consultancy, most recently with a focus on HR, talent management and learning and development

After working for a number of years overseas, we have recently retired (early) and have returned to Ireland and the beautiful village of Doolin on the Wild Atlantic Way.

We own and manage a number of properties in the UK and Ireland; but we particularly enjoy restoring, refurbishing and modernizing 19th century authentic post-famine traditional Irish cottages.

We are also antique collectors, so we love finding and featuring Irish country antique furniture and photographs in our cottages. Sharing this authentic Irish experience is something we love to offer our visitors.

We are nature and animal lovers, and spend a lot of time hiking, cycling, surfing, bird-watching and dog-walking. Some of our retirement plans are based around turning these hobbies into small enterprises.  See the Coming Soon section for some details on our plans.

We are proud to welcome our visitors to Doolin, the panoramic views of the Atlantic, the Cliffs and the Aran Islands.  This is a magical place that will take you back in time.

Cead mile failte!
